The Motorways app provides users with a comprehensive and interactive overview of live traffic incidents and motorway speeds across England. Ideal for commuters and travelers seeking to optimize their routes, this application allows for the live search and filtering of traffic conditions.

It is important to note that the app currently does not extend coverage to Scotland and Wales.

Supported on both iPad and all iPhone models, as well as the Apple Watch, the Motorways app is specifically optimized for each device's capabilities. This means that users can effectively manage their travel plans, potentially reducing both time and costs associated with road travel, particularly during busy periods such as the Christmas commute.

The app features:

• Live motorway speeds for a wide array of routes including M1 through M62 and many more.
• Detailed updates on traffic incidents, accidents, roadworks, repairs, congestion, and delays.
• Coverage of major A, B, and M roads in England.
• The ability to filter out outdated information relevant to your journey.
• Information displayed in proximity to the user's current location for greater relevance.
• Search functionality to tailor information specific to user needs.

The Motorway Speed Graphs feature allows users to view past performance data for chosen junctions and motorways, complemented by live incident updates. Additionally, traffic maps provide both national overviews and detailed insights into specific conditions affecting various roads.

For Apple Watch users, the app highlights the top 10 incidents in close proximity, color-coded for ease of use.
